Universum's Vice-President, Dietmar Poszwa, advised BoxingScene.com that his company will do everything in their power to ensure that Ruslan Chagaev receives his mandatory shot at WBA heavyweight champion David Haye. The sanctioning organization recently ordered Haye to defend his title against Chagaev.

"I've heard the interest of David Haye is to fight [Wladimir] Klitschko. If he doesn't fight Klitschko, then he has to face his mandatory. If he does not want to leave England, this is not a problem for us. We'll come to England," Poszwa told BoxingScene.com.

There have been some concerns from the Haye's camp regarding Chagaev being capable of passing medical exams in England due to his Hepatitis B status. Poszwa doesn't expect any health related issues to prevent Chagaev from being able to challenge Haye for the title.

"Chagaev has been a boxer for a long time. He has fought in the United States. He's fought in Germany. He's fought in Austria. The only problem was in Finland. The promoter in Finland was Sauerland. The fight was [Nikolai] Valuev-Chagaev II. If there is a problem with Chagaev, I ask you, why was this problem not there for the first fight? The documents  have not changed since then. Once again, Chagaev is not ill. There is no reason to not let him fight," Poszwa said.
