At the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland, Carl Froch (27-1, 20KOs) won a dominating one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over Arthur Abraham (31-2, 25KOs) to capture the vacant WBC super middleweight title. Froch picks up two points in the Super Six Boxing Classic and becomes the second seed with four total points. Abraham suffers his second loss in a row. The scores were 119-109, 120-108 and 120-108. 

Abraham came out with his high guard as the larger and the longer Froch was pumping the jab. Froch tried going to the body to bring Abraham's hands down. Abraham landed some very good jabs of his own. Froch returned with a good straight jab and dug to the body. They traded punches at the end of the bell with Froch's faster hands getting there first.

Froch returned with the jab in the second, started landing hook from the side and returned to the body. Abraham started throwing in the final minute but not landing  clean. Froch started throwing and landing multiple combinations in the final twenty seconds.

Froch went to the body in the third and jabbed to the head. Abraham exploded with a combo when they came close in the final minute. They started trading combinations at the end but Froch was getting there first.

The fourth round began with Froch working the jab. Froch mixed up the punches with shots to the head and body of Abraham. Abraham began to pick up the pace and started throwing some good combos, but missed a lot of the punches.

In the fifth, Froch was pumping the jab. Froch throwing a lot but most of the punches being blocked. Abraham jumping in with punches that Froch was able to get away from. Froch with a good left at the end.

The sixth began with Froch's jab. Froch picking his spots. Froch throwing hard hooks to the head and body and going back to the jab. They started trading some shots in the final twenty seconds. 

The jab came back in the seventh from Froch. Froch backed Abraham to the corner and started unloading but most of the punches were blocked off. Froch pumped the jab to the bell.

Froch jabbing and controlling the distance in the eight. They started trading punches in the final minute. Froch went back to the jab to avoid being hit with something big. Froch went the body and Abraham with a right to the head.

Back to the jab was Froch at the start of the ninth round. They started trading good punches in the second minute. Froch landing the better punches. He went back the jab to keep Abraham back. They traded punches at the bell.

Froch started pouring on the punches in the tenth round. Froch went to the head and hurt Abraham to the body. He pressed Abraham to the ropes and they started to trade punches to the bell.

Abraham's face was swollen and bruised as the eleventh round began. Froch continued to use his boxing skills to work circles around Abraham with punches to the head and body. Abraham took some punishment until the bell. He couldn't get past the distance of Froch.

The twelfth and final round began with Abraham landing some hard punches that shook Froch. Froch backed off and went back to the jab. Froch went down to the body and then to the head. Abraham had no answers as Froch poured on the combinations. Abraham with a good right but it was too late as the bell rang.
