In an earlier story on BoxingScene.com, Devon Alexander's manager/trainer, Kevin Cunningham, expressed his frustration at what he perceives to be a lack of urgency in getting the details finalized for the unification with Timothy Bradley, which is scheduled for January 29. Both Alexander and Bradley agreed to the fight weeks ago.

Cunningham feels that both fighters should already be doing their press duties and the fight itself should have a venue solidified so that Alexander and Bradley can have uninterrupted training camps.

In a recent BoxingScene story, Shaw was quoted as saying that he wanted to make a Pacquiao-Bradley fight, after Bradley beats Alexander in January. Cunningham advised Shaw to worry about the Bradley-Alexander promotion before he looks at future fights.

Shaw told BoxingScene that Cunningham should be worried about his fighter and let the promoters do their jobs.

"Kevin Cunningham needs to worry about how he trains Devon, especially based on his last fight. He is too focused on what I'm doing and saying and not focused on his fighter or his promoter Don King," Shaw told BoxingScene.com.

Shaw feels that Cunningham might be getting nervous about the upcoming fight. The New Jersey based promoter said he was already looking ahead to Pacquiao because of his confidence in his fighter and his fighter's trainer.

"That is just another reason why I believe that Tim Bradley destroys Devon Alexander. You have a different quality fighter and different quality trainer. Bradley's trainer Joel Diaz trains Bradley while all Kevin Cunningham does is run his mouth all day and night," Shaw said.

Shaw ended our conversation with a few words of advice for Cunningham - "Here is my tip to Kevin, stop calling web sites and get into the gym with your fighter. January 29th is almost around the corner".
