It's being reported that WBA minimumweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (26-0, 22KOs) will move up in weight on October 24 to challenge WBA junior flyweight champion Juan Carlos Reveco (25-1, 15KOs) of Argentina. Reveco had plans to defend against Gilberto Keb Baas on September 25, but the fight was put off after their respective promoters were unable to reach a deal. Now we get a potential fight of the year.

Reveco-Gonzalez will take place in Japan, on the same major show that will feature such bouts as Jorge Linares vs. Jesus "Matador" Chavez, Japan's Toshiaki Nishioka defending his WBC super bantamweight crown against Rendall Munroe and former Nicaraguan champion Joseph Alfaro fighting with Yoshihiro Kamegai.
