This represents Nietes’ third time on Mexican soil in defense of his WBO title.

 

On the same fight card, Sampson Boxing’s very own Melinda “Maravilla” Cooper vs. Miriam “Cuchillita” Avila settle their business in the Jr. Featherweight division.
