Los Mochis, Sinaloa - Ramón García Hirales will have to change his nickname from "The Prince" to "The Champion", as he picked up a twelve round split decision to defeat previously unbeaten Filipino Johnriel Casimero to win the interim-junior flyweight title of the World Boxing Organization on a great card presented by Zanfer Promotions.

Garcia came from behind after struggling in the first couple of rounds by overcoming the difficult technique and style of Casimero. The scores were 115-113 for Casimero, and 115-113 and 115-113 in favor of Garcia.

The fight was Casimero technique against the pure heart of Garcia Hirales, who for the first couple of rounds had struggled with the style of the Filipino.

Around the fifth, Garcia began to do damage with his straight punches, but it seemed the Filipino fled the exchange of blows.

The native of La Paz began to gain more confidence as the fight was maturing, and added hooks, uppercuts and movement to his repertoire to get a bigger jump towards the end of the fight.

Besides the title, this was his 14th victory with one defeat and a draw and 8 wins by knockout, and for Casimero it was his first defeat in 15 pro bouts.

In the co-feature, the son of a legend, welterweight Omar "Businessman" Chavez destroyed Miguel Angel Galindo by knockout at 1:09 into the second round to secure victory number 23 in his career, with no defeats and 16 wins by way of knockout. Galindo falls to 16-25-2, 9KOs.
