If Juan Manuel Marquez is able to beat Juan Diaz in their rematch on July 31 in Las Vegas, Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya will try to get him the biggest fights possible, which include a December fight with WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan, and a trilogy fight with Manny Pacquiao - if a deal with Floyd Mayweather Jr. falls through.

"He's always wanted Pacquiao. He's always been dreaming about Pacquiao," De La Hoya said.

Marquez and Pacquiao went to a twelve round draw in 2004. Pacquiao won a controversial twelve round split decision in their 2008 rematch. If Marquez wins, and Pacquiao-Mayweather is not made, De La Hoya will discuss the trilogy fight.

"If Juan Manuel Marquez wins, and it's obviously not a guarantee, he has the option of fighting Pacquiao, he has the option of fighting Amir Khan, he has many options.  It's a matter of winning the fight in a spectacular fashion, and then we'll talk about his future, but first things first.  July 31 will not be easy."
