The WBA's heavyweight champion David Haye is take the side of Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the issue of random drug testing in the sport of boxing. Mayweather wants Manny Pacquiao and any future opponent to undergo a random drug testing protocol for performance enhancing drugs.

Haye was a very muscular cruiserweight and now he's a very muscular heavyweight. Rumors of possible drug use began when Haye quickly added an additional 20-30 pounds of muscle for his campaign at heavyweight. Golzka quotes Haye's manager Adam Booth on the matter. He said Haye agrees with Mayweather's position to clean up boxing by having opponents tested for performance enhancing drugs. Haye is open to taking any type of drug tests to prove he is clean.

"There are people who created rumors about David using banned substances when he moved up in weight from cruiserweight to heavyweight. He would never do that. He wants to use his position to campaign against drug use in the sport," Booth said.
