Retired British heavyweight Julius Francis took a look at the British heavyweight landscape during a recent interview with BoxingScene.com/bokser.org. Francis sees WBA heavyweight champion David Haye as the obvious best in the country, and there is nobody who really falls behind as the number two man at the moment. He says Audley Harrison is starting to come back up, but he doesn't think Harrison has done enough to earn a big opportunity to fight for Haye's title.

"David Haye at the moment is the king of England. You have Audley Harrison who is coming up, he's the European champion now. He's looking for a big fight. Me personally, I don't think he deserves to be where he is. He won't like me saying this but I don't think he deserves [a big fight] based on his last performance. I don't really think it was a great performance. He won the fight. It wasn't a great fight. If he looks back on it he will say it wasn't a great fight," Francis said.

One unbeaten prospect coming up, who is very cocky and loves to talk trash, is Tyson Fury. Francis doesn't think much of Fury at the moment and doesn't see him ever being a major force at the weight.

"Tyson has got a long way to go before he even thinks about climbing in the ring...even with the likes of Audley. You can discount David Haye because [Fury] will never be that good," Francis.
