Former heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev is still not sure about the date and location of his next fight. Trainer Alexander Zimin tells Golzka that his fighter is tired of sitting around and may even retire if he continues to do nothing but sit around. Valuev's co-promoter Don King is speaking with Top Rank to make a deal for a final WBC eliminator bout with Odlanier Solis. Zimin said the fight would happen on June 5 but now that date is off and they have no idea when the event will take place. He thinks the fight won't happen until at least the fall.

"There is no information available to us at the moment. They told us we would fight in America and we ordered the visas but now time is running out. Nikolai was ready to fight at the start of the summer but now we don't have an opponent or a date for the fight. All we know is the fight will be in America," Zimin said.

Valuev turns 37-years-old in August and has not fought since a decision loss to David Haye in November.
