Top Rank CEO Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com that he will move to strip IBF/IBO/WBO heavyweight Wladimir Klitschko, if he attempts to avoid his IBF mandatory. The first man in line is Alexander Povetkin, and Arum's fighter Sam Peter is right behind Povetkin.

There has been some discussion in the Eastern European press regarding a possible fee being paid to Povetkin to step aside, in order for a Klitschko-David Haye fight to move forward.

If Klitschko pays Povetkin to step aside, and tries to make a fight with Haye, Arum will file a protest with the IBF to force Peter's mandatory shot.

"Strip him. The last time he made a [IBF] mandatory was 2007. He has to fight a mandatory," Aurm told BoxingScene.com.
