Former champion Ulises Solis (29-2-2, 20KOs) has vowed to repeat with another win over Bert Batawang (45-14, 37KOs). They first met over two years ago with Solis, then the IBF junior flyweight champion, stopping Batawang in the ninth round. On March 27 in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico, the collide again in an IBF junior flyweight title eliminator.

Solis appeared to be unstoppable at the weight until he dropped a shock knockout loss to Brian Viloria last April. He bounced back with an eight round decision win over Dirceu Cabarca last September. The fight with Batawang will put him in line for a shot to get back his title.

"My training has been good and I am ready. I will beat Batawang again," Solis said.
