A lightweight clash between WBO interim-champion Michael Katsidis and top-rated Kevin Mitchell is in the works for a future date this year. Mitchell's promoter Frank Warren has already spoken with Golden Boy Promotions about putting the fight together. Warren would prefer to have the fight as part of a big event in the UK.

"I really fancy that fight. I've spoken with Golden Boy Promotions. It's a good fight for Kevin and one I think we could win," Warren told BoxingScene.com
