Undefeated WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander called BoxingScene.com to respond to a internet report where Zab Judah called him out. Judah, during an interview with Greg "Doss, Where's My Tapes" Leon of boxingtalk.com , said he thought that Alexander was too skilled for IBF champion Juan Urango but that he wasn't on Judah's level. Judah went on to say he would be happy to take both belts from him in Alexander's hometown of St. Louis.

Alexander found these comments rather amusing and had this to say, "Ryan you know I am 100% focused on my unification bout with Urango [on March 6] and I won't look past him. After I pick up my second belt we would be more than happy to fight Judah. He's a former champion and had his run. Its my time now.  Talk is cheap. When he sees what I do to Urango on March 6th let's see if he still wants some."

An Alexander-Judah fight could be very interesting fight especially in St. Louis.  Judah had success beating Cory Spinks in St. Louis so the local fans are very familiar with the Judah name.  Pitting him with Alexander, a young up and coming local champion sounds like a winner at the box office and on HBO.
