WBO light middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk may step into the ring in a few weeks. The IBF champion of the same division, Cory Spinks, still hasn’t found an opponent for his fight which is set to take place in Las Vegas on October, 31. If the teams of Dzinziruk and Spinks act fast, settle all the details between themselves and reach an agreement with world boxing organizations, the boxers will be able to have the unification bout in 4 weeks.

“They already called me from the USA and told about this variant, - confirmed Sergiy to BoxingScene.com. – I finally received visa and next week I’ll fly to America for negotiations. I still haven’t had a direct contact with Spinks’ representatives. I’ll do it after I come to the USA. I have no problem with the date of this bout. I’m keeping myself in shape, that’s why I’ll be able to prepare for this fight even in such short period of time. I think that it’ll be a shame to waste such an opportunity to unify titles”.
