Juan Manuel Marquez has tasted two fights with Manny Pacquiao; fighting to a draw in 2004 and losing a close split decision in 2008. He was dominated last weekend by the returning Floyd Mayweather Jr. With only a few months left in the year, the biggest fight in boxing as we head into 2010 is Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. The Filipino champion still has to get past WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 14 in a very tough fight.

Marquez spoke with his promoter, Golden Boy Promotions president Oscar De La Hoya, and said Mayweather is too slick for Pacquiao. He said Pacquiao would get picked apart by Floyd.

"This is coming from Marquez. If Mayweather fights Pacquiao - c'mon - we all know what's going to happen. Mayweather is just too slick. He'll pick him apart. And that's coming from Marquez. And Marquez knows, he's been in there with Pacquiao," De La Hoya told BoxingScene.com
A duck (Cotto) could not possibly destroy a fox (Pacquiao):boxing:!
We'll see what kind of fox the pack man becomes after a few rounds at that weight, he might look like Marquez, but maybe not as bad. No doubt packman is game and can fight, but he's overmatched t...
