BoxingScene.com has learned that a heavyweight bout between two top contenders is in the works for the Vitali Klitschko-Chris Arreola undercard on September 26 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Unbeaten Russian contender Alexander Ustinov (17-0, 14KOs) will take on Cedric Boswell (30-1, 24KOs). Ustinov, 32-year-old, got a late start and only turned pro in 2005. He beat a few undefeated Eastern European prospects but his biggest win has to be over British heavyweight Michael Sprott. Boswell has riding a decent win streak. He was outboxing Jameel McCline in their 2003 fight, until he got caught and stopped in the tenth and final round. He won nine in a row, eight by knockout, including last August's two-round KO of previously unbeaten Roman Greenberg.
