The slinging of dirt has begun. A few days ago, WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto wanted to send a message to Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, and let him now that his fighter was in for a war on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"I have some news for Freddie, I am not Oscar De La Hoya who was caught at the end of his career, and I am not overrated like Ricky Hatton. Roach knows what Pacquiao will be facing on November 14. It will be a war," Cotto told Primera Hora.

Roach shot right back and says Pacquiao will expose Cotto when the two fighters meet in the ring. The hall of fame trainer says Cotto is not the same fighter and still suffering the after effects of the loss to Antonio Margarito.

"We're not going to stand in front of this guy and trade with him. Manny's a much smarter fighter. Now he's boxing very smartly and we're going to expose Cotto. His skills are not quite where they used to be I feel and we're going to expose him," Roach told fighthype.com.

One thing is for sure, this fight will produce some major fireworks in the ring.
