It's being reported in Puerto Rico that WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto is possibly going to have his brother, Jose Cotto, in his corner for the fight with Joshua Clottey on June 13 at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Jose, a decent fighter, has been away from the ring since May of 2007, when he failed to win the WBA lightweight title from Prawet Singwancha. That night, Jose and uncle/former trainer Evangelista Cotto had a heated argument in the corner between rounds, and it was Miguel who was forced to intervene and cool down the situation. Since that time Jose has helped Miguel with his company, Miguel Cotto Promotions.

Three weeks ago, Miguel had his own confrontation with Evangelista, both verbal and physical, during a training camp dispute in Puerto Rico. Evangelista was fired and replaced by Cotto team member Joe Santiago. Miguel and Santiago are holding the training camp for Clottey in Tampa, Florida.
