In a rematch of their famous 2006 bout, IBF middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (27-0, 22KOs) knocked out Edison Miranda (30-3, 26 KOs) in the fourth-round at the catch-weight of 166-pounds at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida.

Abraham started slow, allowing Miranda to throw power punches while backing up against the ropes. In the the second, Abraham began to counter with combinations. During the third, some of Abraham's right hands buckled Miranda's knees, but Abraham stayed calm and picked his punches.

In the fourth, a right hand that was followed by a crushing left hook sent Miranda down and had him badly hurt. Moments later, a crushing left almost sent Miranda almost out his shoes as he was dropped for a second time. He was able to beat the count, but Abraham sent him down again with combination to end things as the ref saved Miranda from further damage.

Raul Marquez, who earlier beat Giovanni Lorezno, is Abraham's mandatory at middleweight. Abraham called out Kelly Pavlik and Oscar De La Hoya after the contest. The fight was the first for Abraham on American soil.
