Former WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison, 30, has been sent to jail over allegations that he attacked his girlfriend and two cops (one of them a female) at his home on Monday. There are additional charges for breach of the peace and resisting arrest. Harrison will miss the funeral of his tragic uncle, who was found hanging from a tree last Sunday.

The Daily Record reports that Harrison will stay in jail until next month. Harrison has pled not guilty to assaulting girlfriend, Stacy Gardner, and two police officers at his home near Glasgow.

Harrison has been in and out of legal trouble for the last few years. He lost his license to box in 2006 and was recently turned down by the British Board of Control when he tried to obtain a new license to restart his career.

Harrison's ex-manager Barry Hughes told the paper that he'd run out of sympathy for Harrison.

"Scott has run out of chances and the public has run out of sympathy. It's clear a sheriff has run of out of patience too. I said Scott should try to use the tragedy (with his uncle) as a springboard to turn his life around but he doesn't seem able to do that. I find the whole situation desperately sad."
