For the second time in the last few days, former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather has posted a teaser video - attempting to troll fans into believing that he's going to make his debut in Mixed Martial Arts.

In both videos, a barefoot Mayweather is entering an octagon cage, which is widely used by the UFC and other MMA companies, and shaking out a few moves.

Mayweather snapped a two-year retirement back in August of last year, when he fought UFC superstar Conor McGregor, who was making his boxing debut.

After stopping McGregor in the tenth round at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the 40 year old Mayweather announced his retirement from the sport - with a perfect record of 50-0 with 27 knockouts.

It didn't take long before Mayweather claimed that he was approached by the UFC with a massive financial package to make his debut in MMA.

Not long after, Mayweather denied that he was considering the idea of fighting in MMA.

But now, Mayweather is posting videos with UFC style cages and sending cryptic messages on social media.

"2018. Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. MMA. What are the odds Paddy," Mayweather stated on one of the videos that went viral.

It was, quite obviously, an announcement made in a partnership with Paddy Power -judging by his shorts - as he rubbed his hands standing in the center of the alien octagon-shaped ring.

Despite that possibility, many major news outlets have gone bonkers over the videos - with some going as far as to report that a Mayweather MMA debut is imminent.

Mayweather, even in retirement, is the master of keeping his name in the press and generating widespread headlines.

There is almost no possibility that Mayweather, at 40, would risk his aura of invincibility and damage his reputation by taking part in an MMA contest - where even a low-level UFC rookie would stand a good chance of taking him down early and submitting him.
