BoxingScene.com reported last week that Tyson Fury is ready to help his friend, WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, prepare for the upcoming showdown with WBA, IBF and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Joshua and Parker are set for a unification bout at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on March 31 in a hotly anticipated clash.

Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) and Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) have been trading words for some time - and Fury has picked Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) to win the March contest.

After Parker invited Fury to walk him down to the ring for the Joshua fight, the 'Gypsy King' took to social media and said he was willing to take things one step further by becoming one of Parker's sparring partners.

"Joseph Parker, I've got a show on the night your boxing in England but if you want I'll come spar you when your in the UK training for the fight... it will help both me and you, you won't find better sparing than me I promise you. Let me know," Fury stated on social media.

Fury, who has been inactive since shocking Wladimir Klitschko with an upset twelve round decision in November 2015, is currently in training for a potential ring return on a date in April. He recently reached an agreement to reclaim his license to box from the British Boxing Board of Control.

David Higgins, promoter for Parker, has no problem with Fury getting involved with their camp and sees him as a boost.

"Tyson has offered to join Parker's camp for the fight. Even though he might not be the right sparring partner, he's a guy who's been an underdog and waged psychological warfare on Wladimir Klitschko and beat him," Higgins told Radio Live Sunday Sport.

"He is a guy who [brought] massive confidence into our camp because he has done precisely what Joseph is trying to do.

"He's a guy who is good to have on-side to pick his brain, and if it works out to have him around camp then great."
