On November 18th Julian Williams (23-1-1) collides against Ishe Smith (29-8) in a Bounce TV main event.  The action takes place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.  Light heavyweight veteran Lionell Thompson faces unbeaten prospect Earl Newman (10-0-1) in the televised co-feature.

Mayweather Promotions' CEO Leonard Ellerbe is excited about the card and expects both bouts to be action packed.

"It is an outstanding fight. Ishe will be looking to get back into position to challenge for a world title and he has to get through Julian Williams to do that. Julian Williams on the other hand, he had a set back two fights ago and he will be looking to impress the boxing fans by beating a very tough, rugged Ishe Smith and get right back in line to challenge for a world title. It should be a very good fight between two determined fighters looking to make statements on November 18th," said Ellerbe.

Williams bounced back from a December knockout loss against Jermall Charlo by stopping Joshua Conley in June.  Smith has won two fights in a row since losing a majority decision to Vanes Martirosyan in 2015.  Ellerbe believes it is a must win fight for both men and believes they will both lay it all out on the line.

"It is definitely a must win for both guys and I think that is the approach both fighters will be taking into the fight and both will be looking to prove their point. We know that the 154 pound weight class is definitely one of the top two weight classes in all of boxing from a competitiveness standpoint. You have a number of outstanding fighters in the weight class and both of them again are looking to make that major statement," Ellerbe explained.

It is also a big fight for Las Vegas from another standpoint. It is one of the first boxing shows since the October 1st shooting that left 59 people dead and over 500 injured.

Smith is a native Las Vegan and Mayweather Promotions is based in Sin City so the tragedy hit particularly close to home.  Ellerbe is very pleased to be able to put promote a show that should help build goodwill in the community.

"VegasStrong. This another opportunity for the fans to come out and show their support for guys doing something positive after the tragedy in a very entertaining card. We are looking to do something very positive in the community on November 18th," Ellerbe told BoxingScene.com.

"I want all the fight fans to tune in on November 18th for a great night of boxing as Ishe takes on Julian Williams. In the co-feature we got Lionel Thompson against the tough Earl Newman from Brooklyn, NY. Earl is 10-0 with 7 knockouts and Lionel will come looking to make a statement. He will be looking to put these guys on notice."
