WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs) has responded to a recent threat from IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs).

Joshua conduced an interview with Sky News and sent a warning to Wilder about his constant trash talking.

Before the two champions can get in the ring with each other, they have other opponents to take care of. On October 28th in Cardiff, Joshua will make a mandatory defense of his title against Kubrat Pulev of Bulgaria. And then a week later, on November 4th at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Wilder will defend his belt against mandatory challenger, Bermane Stiverne.

Wilder has accused Joshua and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, of avoiding a potential unification between the two of them.

During his recent interview, Joshua made it clear that he was more than ready for Wilder - warning that a showdown will come sooner than later - and when it does there will be damage inside the ring.

"All these guys talk about me all the time and it's negative, always negative, but sooner or later I'll be ramming my jab down their throat," Joshua told Sky News.

"It's not a matter of if, it's just a matter of when when it comes to the likes of David Haye and Deontay Wilder because there has been no era of boxing where heavyweights, middleweights, welterweights haven't come together. We have to fight each other and that's just the way it's going to go."

Wilder saw the comments and felt the need to hit back.

”Bro, like what the f*** Anthony Joshua. You going to soon be ramming your jab down my throat!? To honest, this don’t sound too good unless it’s some next level ish. I guess I’ll have to son you and teach you how a champion supposed to talk - so when they hear you, they shall also feel you. Next time I’d rather hear how you gonna knock my ass out," Wilder stated.
