Most are expecting that five division world champion Floyd Mayweather is going to dominate UFC superstar Conor McGregor during their Aug. 26 bout, but if McGregor does happen to win, he could have another boxer lining up to fight him.

Canelo Alvarez said he might be willing to fight McGregor, but only if he is able to beat Mayweather.

“If that miracle was to happen, then we have a conversation,” Alvarez said. “If that miracle were to happen, but I doubt it very much that Conor beats Floyd.”

Alvarez would know a thing or two about trying to beat Mayweather. The only time he has lost in his 51 fight career was against Mayweather in September 2013.

Even if McGregor agrees to fight another boxer, don't expect a miracle McGregor/Alvarez bout to happen any time soon. Alvarez has a tough mountain to climb of his own, when he faces WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin on Sept. 16.

Both pay-per-view events take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
