Forbes Magazine released their latest list for the "Top Ten Pound-For-Pound Moneymakers in Boxing."

There were several movements, removals and additions since the last list that was released by the magazine in November 2016.

Still standing in the top spot is Mexican superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Last year, Canelo was the only boxer who even crossed the half million mark on pay-per-view - with his May knockout of Amir Khan. But his September pay-per-view with Liam Smith barely reached 300,000 - which was remarkably considering Smith was unknown and never featured on American or Mexican television.

In the number 2 spot was WBO, WBA, IBF light heavyweight champion Andre Ward, who was previously ranked at 3. He received a big $5 million guarantee for the November pay-per-view with Sergey Kovalev and picked up two other wins in 2016. The pay-per-view with Kovalev was seen as a disappointment after only posting 160,000 buys.

Middleweight king Gennady Golovkin, who was previously in the number 2 position, drops down to 3. Golovkin returns on March 18th in a mandatory defense against Daniel Jacobs.

Former champion Sergey Kovalev remains in the number 4 position.

WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao was previously unranked as he announced his retirement last April, but he then came back to the sport for a November pay-per-view win over Jessie Vargas. Forbes has him listed in the number 5 slot, after Pacquiao took a huge financial gamble with a $4 million guarantee for Vargas, as the Filipino star aimed to gamble from the PPV revenue. There are still conflicting figures over how many buys the pay-per-view actually did, with some stating that it barely cracked 300,000.

Heavyweight Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko are tied for the sixth position. Klitschko was previously ranked at 5 and Joshua was unranked. They collide on April 29th at Wembley for the IBF, WBA, IBO titles.

WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman, who sat in number 6, drops down to number 7. His standing could pick up if he defeats WBC champion Danny Garcia on March 4.

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who was previously sitting at number 7, drops down to 8.

WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford remains in the number 9 slot.

And WBO super featherweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko makes his debut on the list by landing the 10th and final spot.
