WBA junior welterweight champion Adrien “The Problem” Broner (31-2, 23 KOs) would like to get in the ring with Danny “Swift” Garcia (32-0, 18 KOs), who last Saturday captured the WBC welterweight world title - but says the networks are not willing to pay enough to make the fight.

Broner and Garcia are both advised by Al Haymon and fight under the Premier Boxing Champions umbrella. The PBC has television deals with a full stable of outlets - including Showtime, CBS, CBS Sports, ESPN, Spike TV, FOX, Fox Sports, NBC, NBC Sports and Bounce TV.

Broner's two career defeats came in the welterweight division, in fights against Marcos Maidana and Shawn Porter. He lost a decision to Maidana in 2013 and then dropped down to 140-pounds, where he won his next three bouts. Then last June he went up to 144 for a catch-weight bout with Porter and lost another twelve round decision. He came back in October, back at 140, to capture the vacant WBA title with a TKO in twelve of Khabib Allakhverdiev. The win made Broner a four division world champion with belts previously won at 130, 135 and 147.

Garcia made the full jump to 147-pounds last August and stopped Paulie Malignaggi in nine rounds. He continued his welterweight run last Saturday, beating Robert Guerrero over twelve to become a two-division world champion at the Staples Center.

Broner took to the social networks to complain that a proper payday was necessary to put together a fight with Garcia.

"This is the fight that the boxing world wants but the networks want pay the right price for me and my bro Danny Garcia to fight. We are stablemates who know that our path will cross one day but the "MONEY" has to be right! POINT BLANK PERIOD!!!! #AboutBillions #DSG other than that we both go keep stacking our money and keep building our records and careers," Broner stated to his followers.
