Unbeaten welterweight Dusty Hernandez-Harrison is scheduled to fight Angel Hernandez on January 29, promoter Bobby Hitz told BoxingScene.com.

The eight round bout will take place at The Belvedere in Elk Grove, a suburb of Chicago, Ill.

Also on the card will be middleweight contender Willie Monroe. He will fight in an eight round bout against a fighter to be determined.

Hernandez-Harrison (28-0, 15 KOs) has built a strong following in and around the Washington, D.C. area. The 21-year-old signed a promotional contract with Roc Nation in late December of 2014.

In his last bout on September 26, Hernandez-Harrison knocked out James Wayka in the first round in Norfolk, Virgina.

Hernandez-Harrison was originally scheduled to open an HBO Latino telecast on December 5 in Kissimmee, Florida. That fight fell through when the network reportedly did not approve any fighters that agreed to face Hernandez-Harrison.

Hernandez-Harrison has fought on network television (ESPN2 and Fox Sports 1) in the last couple of years against Tim Witherspon, Jr., Michael Balasi, and Tommy Rainone.

Hernandez (17-16-1 1NC, 13 KOs), who resides in nearby Gary, Ind., won a four round decision over Sam Gibson in his last bout on October 17. The win snapped a four-bout losing streak.

Should Monroe's fight go through on January 29, it will be his fight since May 16, when he was stopped by Gennady Golovkin in the sixth round in Inglewood, Calif.

He is promoted by Banner Promotions.
