Trainer Freddie Roach had a good laugh when the subject of Manny Pacquiao's rehabilitation was discussed.

Pacquiao is recovering from a right shoulder injury, which happened during the fourth round of his twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Despite the surgery, a lot of critics are skeptical about the seriousness of the injury due to conflicting information from Pacquiao and his team members.

During a recent interview with the Philippine Star, Pacquiao claimed the shoulder was healed with "salt water" and praying to God. That story certainly raised eyebrows with the critics who felt the injury was minor.

According to Roach, Pacquiao was just "joking around" and he's actually seeing a doctor and going through rehab on a daily basis.

"Well the thing is, he's in the Philippines [and] he's got a doctor there. The doctor tells me that he's doing the rehab every day, so the thing is....he's not just going to go in the ocean and God's going to fix it," Roach told BoxingScene.com.
