Home Depot Center, Los Angeles, California - Super lightweight Evgeny Gradovich (14-0, 7KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over rigged Jose Beranza (35-25-2, 27KOs). The scores were 79-73 twice and 80-72.

Super lightweight contender Jose Benavidez Jr. (17-0, 13KOs) was very luck to win an eight round unanimous decision over Pavel Miranda (19-8-1, 10KOs). Benavidez won the majority of the rounds but he got clipped in the eight and final round. He was out on his feet and his legs were gone, but Miranda was unable to put him away before the bell. All three judges saw it 79-73.

In an eight round lightweight bout, Jose Roman (14-0, 11KOs) and Javier Garcia (8-2-1, 7KOs) fought to a three round technical draw. They were throwing bombs in the first round. Roman was cracked by a counter hook and dropped on his back. The action continued until the bell with Roman countering off the ropes with accurate shots to the head. In a second round, a huge combination against the ropes sent Garcia down hard. In a rough third, a bad cut opened up around the left eye of Garcia. The fight was stopped before the start of the fourth, based on the cut and because four rounds were not completed the fight was ruled out as a draw. The referee ruled that Garcia's cut was caused by a clash of heads.

Light heavyweight Trevor McCumby (7-0, 7KOs) continued his streak of victims with a first round demolition of Eliseo Durazo (4-4, 1KO). Durazo was down twice in the first before the fight was waved off.

Super middleweight prospect Ronald Ellis (4-0, 3KOs) was taken the distance for the first time in his career with a four round unanimous decision over Katrell Strauss (2-3, 1KOs). All three judges saw it 40-36.

In a super featherweight contest, prospect Saul Rodriguez (6-0, 5KOs) and Cesar Garcia (6-12-1, 1KO) fought to a technical draw after two rounds of action. Garcia took a beating in the second round and the referee stopped the contest before the start of the third. He cited a cut suffered by Garcia from an accidental clash of heads.
