WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko sees hard battle ahead on September 11, when he defends his titles against mandatory challenger Alexander Povetkin on September 11 at the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.

Klitschko (54-3, 48 KOs) tells Reeklama that Povetkin (19-0, 14 KOs) will present a difficult challenge and possibly more difficult than some of his recent opponents.

"I believe that Alexander Povetkin is a great competitor. He never lost a single fight. This is going to be a meeting between two Olympic champions in the professional ring. We both took the gold with an 8 year difference. I became the Olympic champion in 1996 in Atlanta, and Alexander - in 2004, in Athens," Klitschko said. "My training camp will last for seven weeks leading up to the fight. I am confident of my success."
