The pounding that Joe Calzaghe dished out in November was not enough to convince Roy Jones Jr. (52-5, 38 KOs) to hang up the gloves. Jones, who turns 40 shortly, plans to return to the ring on March 21. He would like to return in his hometown of Pensacola, Florida and is currently in talks with the Pensacola Civic Center.

"They've been supporting me all these years, through good and bad," Jones told the Pensacola News Journal . "So I feel like I need to bring one back to them. This is my chance to bring one back here."

Jones appears confident that a deal can be reached with the venue, but if talks fall apart, he would return on the same date in Biloxi, Miss. No opponent has been named, but Jones was recently trying to land a fight with super middleweight Jermain Taylor.
