Zeuge's Coach, Braehmer, Went Bonkers After Upset Loss

By Per Ake Persson

According to BILD and other German media, in the aftermath of Tyron Zeuge´s upset loss to Rocky Fielding, the German boxer's trainer and still active fighter Juergen Braehmer threw a bottle at Sauerland´s CEO Friedrich Ness but it partly missed the target and landed at Mrs Jocki Sauerland instead.

Braehmer blamed Ness for Zeuge´s loss and put it down on making the wrong fight at the wrong time, poor planning and preparations.

Wilfried Sauerland stated that Juergen Braehmer is not included in the future plans of Sauerland Event.

Braehmer began his long career with Universum and signed with Sauerland in 2012 once Universum had folded.

Swedish heavyweight and former EU and WBA Continental champ Otto Wallin, 20-0, is the new official challenger for EBU champ Agit Kabayel, 21-2.

Wallin confirms there is an interest from both parties for the fight.

Kabayel, promoted by SES, is all set for a voluntary defence on October 27 but Wallin, now a freelancer trained by Joey Gamache, could very well be the one for that fight.

EBU super featherweight champion James Tennyson´s defence of the title against Frenchman Samir Ziani will now go ahead September 22 at the Wembley Arena on the undercard to Joshua vs Povetkin, reports the French Federation while the EBU list Belfast as site.

French lightweight Marvis Petit is out with a leg injury and his fight against EBU champ Edis Tatli on August 11 in Savonlinna is off.

However, the show is still on and Tatli will fight an opponent to be announced this weekend.

Heavyweight Robert Helenius takes on Yury Bykhautsou in the co-feature in a fight where the Nordic Nightmare have something to prove after his lackluster performance in their first fight broken hand or not.

On the undercard welterweight Nourdeen Toure (7-2) return after two years out along with Oskari Metz (6-0) - if all goes well for Oskari this weekend when he fights Oleksandr Chaban in Mikkeli that is.

This whole situation is a mess: How is that your coach ( Juergen Braehmer ) is able to whoop you ( Tyrone Zeauge ) and your opponent ( Rocky Fielding ) on the same night, but you both can call…
