Yamanaka Gets Filipino Aid as He Plans For Moreno KO

On September 2nd at the Ota City Gerneral Gimnasyum of Tokyo, Japan, Teiken Promotions presents the card “World Premium Boxing” - which is going to be broadcast live to all of Japan.

The highlight is World Boxing Council bantamweight champion, Shinsuke Yamanaka (23-0-2, 17KOs), defending his crown for the 9th time against the southpaw from Panama, Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno (35-3-1, 12KOs).

At the Teiken Boxing Gym of Tokyo, the undefeated champion is getting prepared with the help of two tough sparring partners from the Philippines, Marlon Tapales and Mark Anthony Geraldo.

At the end of a tough training session, Yamanaka said the goal was still the same - to become the first boxer to score a knockout victory over Moreno, who not long ago was considered to be one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the sport.

“I am very motivated for my next bout against Anselmo Moreno. I want to knock out the Panamanian guy and I am sure of victory."
