Wlodarczyk-Palacios: "The Wizard" Vows To Win For PR

By Jhonny Gonzalez

Puerto Rico's Francisco "The Wizard" Palacios is counting down the weeks until he travels over to Bydgoszcz, Poland, for his big shot at the WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. Palacios, a native of Bayamon, and undefeated with a 20-0, 13KOs record, returns from last year's two round knockout of Donnel Wiggins. Wlodarczyk has an impressive record of 44-2 with 32 knockouts

"I had previously agreed to fight in an eliminator against the third highest ranked contender," said Palacios to Carlos Narvaez. "But didn't have to do that and now the door is open to directly to the world title. My purpose is to go to Poland, to take the title from Wlodarczyk and bring it to Puerto Rico. I want to relive what Carlos "Sugar" De Leon accomplished give the people of Puerto Rico what they deserve."
