Silverhawk Championship Boxing promoted an exciting night of fights, from The Palace in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

In the main event, Rubin Williams (29-2-1, 16 KOs) recorded a split draw against veteran Antwun Echols (31-6-3, 27 KOs) in their IBA super middleweight slugfest. The scores were, 114-113 (Williams), 111-115 (Echols) and 113-113. Referee Frank Garza deducted a point from Williams in Rounds 7 and 9 for low blows. There was a lot of action in the bout as neither fighter held back their punches. Many called it an early "fight of the year" candidate, and a rematch may happen.

"I started late in the fight," said Williams. "But I didn't lose. My right hand came on strong but it was too late."

"I thought I pulled it off," Echols said. "But I'll leave it like it is. I'd like to fight him again."

Cedric Boswell TKO Round 1 over Robert Kooser.  Kooser had no chance to avoid the lightning fast speed of Boswell as he was floored twice in the first round before he referee called a halt to the fight.  Boswell moves to 23-1 (18KOs) and Kooser moves to 9-7 (8KOs)

Ronald “The Motor City Cobra” Hearns made quick work of Daniel Neal with a 1st round KO.  Hearns kept his undefeated record in tact and moves to 12-0 (9KOs) and Neal drops to 9-17 (3KOs). After the bout, boxing legend Thomas Hearns, and his son Ronald wer furious because they felt the opponent took a dive. Ronald said he grazed Neal with a light right hand that barely had any power. Neil fell after a delayed reaction. State boxing commissioner Al Low told the promoter to withhold Neil's purse.

Pete Canu wins a UD over James Lester Jr.  Candu improves to 8-6-1 (6) and Lester drops to 3-2 (1).

Damon McCreary continued his undefeated record with a 1st round KO over journeyman James North.  McCreary improves to 12-0 (9) and North drops to 8-16 (3).

Mary Jo Sanders proved she is the pound for pound best female fighter in the world as she captured the IBA Middleweight World title with a 3rd round TKO over Gina Nichols.  Sanders moves to 23-0 (7) and Nichols moves to 11-6-2 (8).
