Warren: Pavlik vs DeGale, I'll Sign The Fight Right Now

By Mark Vester

Promoter Frank Warren is ready to move super middleweight prospect James DeGale (9-0, 7KOs) to another level. Warren says he is ready and willing to match his Olympic gold medal winner against former middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32KOs). If Pavlik wants a fight with DeGale, Warren is willing to make an immediate deal.

Pavlik spent the last few weeks at a rehab facility in California. The former champ was treating his well known drinking problem. Pavlik checked out last Monday but nothing has been made clear about the future of his career.

"Former world middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik has checked out of rehab where he has been battling a drink problem. If he wants to fight James DeGale, I'd make that one in a heartbeat this year," Warren said.
Frank Warren is an absolute retard.
Nah he is just using Pavliks name to get Degales name out there. Similar to what he was doing with Brook and Khan and Khan does with Mayweather.

"Ohhh, what a big man you are!" - Al Pacino voice Seriously I would sign to fight Pavlik right now. And Warren probably isn't even serious, he's just using Pavlik's name & current media attention to get his fighter some.
Are you cunts stupid? Warren is basically saying he is so confident in DeGale he'll sign a fight with Pavlik right away. That doesn't mean he wants the fight right now or it's not going to happen. Obviously he's not…

[email protected] Frank being so eager for his fighter to face someone known to be having a hard time recovering from alcohol addiction. Frank is a joke.
