Video: Mosley Continues To Put in Work For Mayorga

By Radio Rahim

Los Angeles, California - "Sugar" Shane Mosley (47-9-1) continues to put in work for his upcoming fight with Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga (31-8-1). Their rematch takes place on pay-per-view on August 29th in Los Angeles, California.

The pay-per-view is under fire by promoter Don King, who believes he hold a valid contract with Mayorga. He filed a lawsuit, attempting to stop the pay-per-view event, because the veteran promoter claims Mayorga went around him to make the fight.

During a recent press conference there was plenty of tension. Mayorga blew smoke in Mosley's face - who smacked the cigarette out of his mouth and that caused a pull-apart after Mayorga shoved him.

Mosley and Mayorga fought a very close pitched bout back in 2008, with Mosley securing a knockout in the closing seconds of the twelfth and final round. Going into the final round, the fight was a close split decision in favor of Mosley on the official cards.

The fight will be Mosley's first since losing to Anthony Mundine in 2013. Mayorga last fought in December when he stopped Andrik Saralegui in Nicaragua. Mosley hopes a win over Mayorga will start his path to another title shot opportunity in the next few months

Hasn't King done this to Mayorga a couple times before? One being an MMA fight?

Mosley is an idiot. He thought just because a few hundred ppl on Twitter interacted with him he could put on a PPV fight. Never bothered to check if his opponent was under contract. He's a fool.
