Video: Hearn on Klitschko's Injury, Brook-Chaves Status

Declan Taylor catches up with Matchroom Sport promoter Eddie Hearn to discuss the calf injury to Wladimir Klitschko and where it leaves Kell Brook vs. Diego Chaves as a pay-per-view event in the UK.

Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing are delighted to announce Chris Eubank Jr has signed promotional terms with the company.

The Middleweight sensation will return to the ring on the undercard of Kell Brook’s IBF World Welterweight title defense against Diego Chaves at the Sheffield Arena on October 24, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

He will also fight on the ‘Bad Intentions’ bill at The O2 in London on December 12, topped by the Anthony Joshua MBE vs. Dillian Whyte showdown for the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight titles.

Eddie Hearn commented: “I am delighted to welcome Eubank Jr to our team. I hope to have similar success with Eubank Jr as my father did with Chris Eubank.”

Eubank Jnr will next box on the undercard of Kell Brook’s IBF World Welterweight title defence against Diego Chaves at the Sheffield Arena on October 24, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

Brook’s clash with Chaves is part of a huge night of action in Sheffield as former two-weight World champion Ricky Burns challenges Edis Tatli for the European Lightweight title, unbeaten Doncaster ace Gavin McDonnell defends his Super Bantamweight strap for the first time against Jeremy Parodi.

Not a chance Eddie as much as I think the Chaves fight will be entertaining your PPV is blown to bits with Klitschkos withdrawal.I think your expecting this ppv and another one in November.....think again !
