Video: Caleb Plant Reacts To Tyson Fury Stopping Wilder

MGM Grand, Las Vegas - In the highly anticipated rematch for the WBC heavyweight title, Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) made a statement by dropping Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) twice to secure a seventh round stoppage. (photos by Mikey Williams, Ryan Hafey)

The first contest, which took place in December 2018, saw the bout end in a controversial twelve round split draw.

Fury was coming forward in the first round. Wilder was on the back-foot, but soon came forward and was looking for the big shots. Fury was also looking for big shots. Wilder landed hard jab, which was the best shot of the round.

The hard jab continued for Fury in the second. Wilder was missing the right hand and Fury was able to connect hard. In the third, Fury was landing with solid punches that were giving Wilder issues. At the end of the round, Wilder was dropped by a hard shot. Wilder got up on unsteady legs, but it made it out.

After controlling the fourth, Fury went right after Wilder in the fifth. Fury dropped him for a second time, with a shot to the body. Also during the fifth, there was a point taken from Fury for hitting on the break.

Fury controlled Wilder in the sixth. Wilder's left ear was bleeding pretty bad and it may have been a busted ear drum. In the seventh round, Wilder was getting worked over and the fight was waved off when the towel came in from Wilder's corner.

Caleb, Wilder's legs looked shot after the first bomb Fury landed at 2:24 of the 1st round.
