Felix 'Tutico' Zabala, promoter of undefeated WBO super bantamweight champion, Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. (20-0, 17KOs), said that after his boxer faces Mexican star Jorge 'Travieso' Arce on May 7, the next opponent has to be one of the first 15 rated boxers under the WBO, but he does not think that it will be Jayson 'La Maravilla' Velez (15-0, 12KOs). Velez is slowly moving up in the rankings and wants to get his shot in the near future.

“I think that Velez still has a little way to go before he reaches a title shot. He's a young man but I think he has to take his time and he has to wait for it to come, just like I did with Vazquez," said the president of the All Star Promotions.
