TYSON FURY has addressed rumours his fight with Deontay Wilder is off – and he has a message for the “Bronze Bomber”.
Fury set up a super-fight against Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title after beating Francesco Pianeta.
The self-proclaimed “Gypsy King” continued his comeback to the sport after beating Sefer Seferi in June.
But Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn suggested the fight against the American could be off.
And the 29-year-old has now responded on Instagram to these rumours.
“Just a quick update,” Fury said while on holiday. “I’ve been reading and have heard some rumours that this fight is off for me and Wilder.
“Not on my watch it ain’t – I’m not pulling out of nothing. It’s on like Donkey Kong. Tyson Fury is like a king coming to America.
“I’m just taking some much-needed rest after a nine-month training camp but I will resume training September 1st.
“That will leave me nine or ten weeks to prepare. I’m already fit, I’m already ready, I haven’t got any weight to lose
“I’m coming for Wilder’s belt. I’m a big believer of when it’s your time, it’s your time.
“My uncle always used to say if you can fight you can fight and if you can’t, don’t do it. I can fight I’m going to prove I can fight by taking the most dangerous heavyweight in the world on in his backyard.”
This comes as the Mancunian announced he wife is expecting a fifth baby.
