Tyson Fury Deserves Biggest Contract in Boxing, Says Warren

WBC heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is deserving a 'trillion dollar contract' when he renegotiates his new agreement with Top Rank, according to his co-promoter Frank Warren.

Fury recently discussed that there are two fights remaining on his co-promotional deal with Top Rank - and he's going to want a lot more money when he renegotiates to re-sign with them. In fact, Fury is going to demand the lucrative contract in the sport.

Fury entered into a co-promotional deal with Top Rank in 2019.

He had two fights last year and topped things off in February, when he stopped Deontay Wilder in seven rounds to capture the WBC title.

Fury and Wilder are now set to have a trilogy fight, sometime in the fall.

"What Tyson Fury has done for not just boxing, but British sport in general is nothing short of out of this world," Warren said to Daily Mail. "He could be awarded a trillion dollar contract tomorrow and be worth every penny.

"I've been fortunate enough to promote Tyson since his comeback and his focus on not just his own recovery, but on helping others, has been exemplary.

"Watching him destroy Deontay Wilder for the world title ranks among the greatest achievements by a British sportsman and I look forward to standing alongside him for the next chapter in his career. The biggest character in boxing deserves the biggest contract. It's as simple as that."

Fury is looking to make more money than any other boxer in history - including Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez.

''I'm coming to the end of my contract with Top Rank. I have two more fights left with those guys. I want to renew it. I don't want to just walk away after two more fights," Fury said.

"I'm 31 years old. Like [boxing manager and advisor] Billy Keane said, the man who helped with this deal with ESPN and Top Rank, "you better get out the dumpster truck and reverse it back into Tyson Fury's bank account, because that's what he's going to need.

"I want to get that big, major fight deal. I want to break all of the records, for a British fighter to go overseas and get the biggest signing record in history. I know that with MTK Global, Top Rank and Frank Warren, and all of the guys who help in between, I know we can make that happen. I know that we can break history with the biggest fight contract in the history of boxing — bigger than Floyd Mayweather, bigger than Canelo Alvarez, bigger than Mike Tyson, bigger than everybody."

[QUOTE=SilverShareHldr;20591776]Of Course he's a British Boxer & I'm pretty sure he can still fight in the U.K. he's just got to get licenced. If he were banned it wouldn't affect his current title anyways. None of anyone's business what type…
