Highly ranked light heavyweight Erik Skoglund (26-0) and newly crowned EBU super lightweight champion Anthony Yigit headlines a planned Sauerland Promotion show most likely May 20 at the Rosvallahall in Nykpoing (Sweden), writes Sodermanlands Nyheter.
Skoglund has been waiting for a long time for a big fight and it could be coming on this show. As for Yigit it will be a voluntary defence of the title he won against Lenny Daws in December.
Super middleweight veteran Lolenga Mock and light heavyweight prospects Jonas Madsen (8-0) and Jeppe Morell (7-0) headline Danish Fight Night on April 7 at the Frederiksberg Hall in Copenhagen. Also on the eight-fight bill is heavyweight Pierre Madsen (6-0) and super middleweight Daniel Heinze (6-1) who is looking to get back in the win column after losing to Derrick Findley on the last DFN show.
WBA regular super middleweight champ Tyron Zeuge have again changed trainer reports Bild. This time Konny Mittermeier is out and former WBA light heavyweight ruler Juergen Braehmer is back in (well, he never really left).
Zeuge and change of trainers is beginning quite a story. He started out as a pro with Karsten Rover (who is no longer with Team Sauerland) but late 2015 it was announced he would be trained by Ulli Wegner. Early 2016 the announcement came that Tyron would be trained by Braehmer and in the summer Mittermeier came on board as co-trainer.
Zeuge defends the title against Isaac Ekpo March 25 in Potsdam.
