Velayo, a fighter of Cebu promoter and boxing manager Sammy Gello-ani lost a seventh round technical decision to undefeated Fahpetchnoi Chitpattana while Monserto siffered a fifth round TKO at the hands of veteran Medgoen Singsurat pr Medgoen 3K Battery who years ago scored a third round KO over Manny Pacquiao to win the WBC flyweight title in September 1999..

Medgoen improved to 43-4 with 30 knockouts while Fahpetchnoi upped his undefeated record to 13-0 wioth 9 knockouts. Velayo dropped to 9-8-2 with 6 KO’s.
