Tua vs Barrett Rematch on August 13, Likely in Manukau

The rematch between David Tua and American Monte Barrett has been confirmed. Tua was lucky to escape with a controversial draw the last time the two fighters met almost a year ago in Atlantic City. Tua's manager and wife Robina Tua says the rematch is finally going to go ahead.

She says everyone has signed on for the fight that will take place on August 13 and that her husband has stayed in great shape in anticipation that the fight would happen. She says he's in great nick and is just excited to finally have the fight confirmed. Robina Tua says the fight will likely take place at the Pacific Events Centre in Manukau.
