Golden Boy Promotions and Cancun Boxing have turned this coming Saturday's card, at the Arena Oasis in Cancun, into a Mexico vs. Puerto Rico doubleheader.

Last week the card was in jeopardy when main eventer Pablo Cesar Cano (27-4-1, 20KOs) withdrew from his scheduled fight with Juan Pablo 'Cheche' Lopez (25-3, 21KOs) in agreed to at welterweight. Cano broke his pinky finger on his left hand.

Stepping in for Cano is Puerto Rican contender Fernando Torres (18-5-1, 10 KO's). The co-feature will have undefeated prospect Jeffrey Fontanez (15-0-0, 11 KO's) of Caguas facing hard puncher Gilberto "Flaco" Gonzalez (23-3, 18 KO's).

The card will be broadcast by Televisa Deportes and Fox Sports Deportes.
