Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs) is still a free agent. The Polish star is looking to return in the coming months, but a new promotional deal is delaying the boxer's plan. Adamek is discussing a contract extension with Main Events, but he doesn't like the current terms being presented. He hopes to return in March. The fight was last seen in September, getting knocked out by Vitali Klitschko in ten rounds.

"As it's already known, on December 12th my contract with Main Events expired. We are discussing the extension of the contract but under different terms.  Right now the offer from Main Events is not one I would accept and that is delaying the planning of my fight in the spring," Adamek said.

"I'm train with the thought that I will appear on a show organized in March or April from some promoter. Slowly we're looking for an opponent with whom I can start the year off right. A few more weeks and there will be more details."
