BoxingScene.com was advised by promoter Gary Shaw that he might explore a fight between WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and top contender Victor Ortiz.

Both of them saw action on Saturday night. In Chicago, Ortiz returned from the Marcos Maidana defeat, and stopped veteran Antonio Diaz in six rounds. In California, Bradley picked up the most impressive win of his career with a twelve round decision over previously undefeated Lamont Peterson.

Shaw would like to get Bradley a big fight in early 2010. He may reach out to Golden Boy Promotions for Ortiz. Shaw is not holding his breath on this one.

"We want Amir Kahn, Maidana, Ortiz. Let's see how brave they are by offering up Ortiz. I might just offer Ortiz a title shot. Bradley would knock him out," Shaw told BoxingScene.com
